Guitar Hero III new songs list, 30 out of 70 soundtracks revealed!

Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock‘s lead developer Alan Flores (from Neversoft) for the PS2, PS3, Xbox 360 & Wii music game has said in an interview that there will be “over 70 songs” on the final soundtrack for the game! Over half of them will be master recordings. So far 30 songs and their artists have been revealed for Guitar Hero III soundtrack by Activision.

Here’s the list including videos for each song:

1. “3′s and 7′s” by Queens of the Stone Age
2. “Barracuda” as made famous by Heart
3. “Cherub Rock” by Smashing Pumpkins
4. “Cities on Flame with Rock and Roll” as made famous by Blue Ã–yster Cult
5. “Cult of Personality” by Living Colour
6. “Even Flow” by Pearl Jam
7. “Knights of Cydonia” by Muse
8. “La Grange” as made famous by ZZ Top
9. “Lay Down” by Priestess
10. “The Metal” by Tenacious D
11. “Miss Murder” by AFI
12. “Mississippi Queen” as made famous by Mountain
13. “My Name Is Jonas” by Weezer
14. “The Number of the Beast” by Iron Maiden
15. “One” by Metallica
16. “Paint It, Black” by The Rolling Stones
17. “Paranoid” as made famous by Black Sabbath
18. “Raining Blood” by Slayer
19. “Reptilia” by The Strokes
20. “Rock and Roll All Nite” as made famous by Kiss
21. “Rock You Like a Hurricane” as made famous by Scorpions
22. “Sabotage” by Beastie Boys
23. “School’s Out” as made famous by Alice Cooper
24. “She Builds Quick Machines” by Velvet Revolver
25. “Slow Ride” as made famous by Foghat
26. “Suck My Kiss” by Red Hot Chili Peppers
27. “Through the Fire and Flames” by DragonForce
28. “Welcome to the Jungle” by Guns N’ Roses
29. Another song by Velvet Revolver from Libertad
30. An original song composed and performed by Slash of Velvet Revolver

AC/DC and Led Zeppelin are also in discussion.

wow 134 I disagree with you, their well known metal bands but obviously you don’t know music, only one of those bands on that list arn’t on a major label, maybe you should go learn something about metal, let alone rock

also they should add pinball wizard and i would say bohemian rhapsody but the guitar kicks in way to into the song for it to be added, which is unfortunate, also some skid row would be awsome:)

I knew The Sleeping were gonna have a song in it before it was announced because my friend knows the drummer and he told him. “Don’t Hold Back” is an awesome song for GHIII

ok here it is. they have to put a wide variety of songs and bands in here otherwise only certain ppl would buy the game. now it’s for a much broader public. therefore more money
slash is easily one of the best guitar players alive. seen him live numerous times and he is fantastic. Gn’R metallica priest ac/dc all legends. and for the younger players there’s bands of today. it’s all about the money ppl. sales sales sales. that simple.
all i want to see is hallowed be thy name from iron maiden. and fear of the dark.
love most of the songs on every GH game so i’ll keep buying and playing every single one as long as they put a few songs i like on there.

i’m sorry greg and own anyone in gh. you must have mistaken me for somebody who cares what you think!. and besides this is just a chat room, and we are just talking about a video game intent on making money! so they are gonna appeal to all the markets they can. not just 2 guys who still live with their parents, work at wendy’s part time, and listen to music from bands that have not had enough impact on a world level to be recigonized and represented in said video game world wide. so they just bitch about it online and flame other people because they think they are right. even though it doesn’t really matter and is just for entertainment purposes. just don’t forget to flip the burger patties fellas otherwise they will burn.

yea i still live with my parents, i just started college…and only mexicans work at wendy’s….don’t forget that you know absolutely nothing….and the only thing i burn would be u at this game…and if u had any knowledge in a fast food common sense..burgers are pre-made
