New Dynasty Warriors 6 tidbits and simultaneous PS3 and Xbox 360 release (first gameplay video shown)
Koei announced last month Shin Sangoku Musou 5 AKA Dynasty Warriors 6 would be coming to PlayStation 3. Today the official site also shows that the game will simultaneously be released on Xbox 360 as well. While it will come to Japan in fall 2007, don’t expect a worldwide release until 2008.
It’s the sixth installment in the massive battlefield simulator/action game from Koei. The game’s set in China, it’s based on the famous Chinese novel, Romance of the Three Kingdoms by Luo Guanzhong. On top of the usual updates, including all-new weapons, the gameplay formula has been changed significantly, adding the ability for players to perform practically unlimited combos, swim and climb. The game’s concept will be “Extreme Action, Extreme Battle field.â€
