Crysis could come to PS3 and Xbox 360
Originally Crysis developer Crytek said Crysis could only run on PC’s with Windows Vista and XP, and they seemed to be the only ones to think that. So now it’s good to hear it could come to PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles.
Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli told PC Gamer “Theoretically, anything could run anywhere. Crysis could be on the Xbox 360 or PS3. It requires optimisation, that’s what we’ve always communicated. What you would not do is make Crysis on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC for a single shipping date, because we would lose the quality focus. First PC version, then we’ll see what happens. There aren’t any plans for Crysis on PS3 and Xbox 360 currently.”
In Crysis shooter fans will face a new kind of gameplay challenge requiring adaptive tactics and customization of weapons and armor in dynamic, hostile environments as mankind struggles to survive in the face of a horrific alien invasion. Also, it has really really pretty graphics.
