Konami considering bringing the Metal Gear 20th Anniversary Collection package to America
At the Comic-Con 2007 last weekend, Kotaku asked Konami‘s marketing VP Anthony Kraus about Konami USA bringing over the Metal Gear 20th Anniversary Collection from Japan.
Mr. Kraus’ reply confirmed that they’re “considering it” with the sales team talking to retailers about potential interest in selling such a package. When asked if it would be the same collection package he said: “Very similar.”
The above shown Metal Gear collection contains: the original Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake, Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops and DVDs Metal Gear Saga and The Document of Metal Gear Solid, at a cheap price of 6250 Yen in Japan (that’s only $52! or €39!).
