Longtime PS3 sales leaders Resistance: Fall of Man is back on top in the USA and Europe. With the release of Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s on PS2 it takes the top spot in the USA and Europe. The new PC expansion Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword is also ruling sales in the USA and Europe. Pokemon Diamond and Pearl have spread their American #1 rule to Europe where the duo was released this Friday with huge sales, and in Japan there’s a chart-topping debut for Taiko no Tatsujin DS (Taiko Drum Master DS). — More analysis at Gamasutra.
Amazing how high up Gears of War is after all this time. Epic’s cash cow.
Yeah Thraxas, what surprises me even more is that it gained sales after the PC announcement that will have exclusive features that the Xbox 360 original won’t get. I guess some publicity is better than none in this case.
