First there was Resident Evil, followed up by it’s sequel, Resident Evil: Apocalypse and now we have Resident Evil: Extinction, the third movie in the franchise by Paul W.S. Anderson, the same guy who did the first Mortal Kombat and movies like Event Horizon and Alien VS Predator. His upcoming films include: Spy Hunter, Death Race and Castlevania, which he may or may not still be attached too.
RE: Extinction takes place years after the Raccoon City disaster. Alice (Milla Jovovich) is on her own knowing that she has become a liability and could endanger those around her and is struggling to survive and bring down the Umbrella Corporation, lead by the sinister Albert Wesker (Jason O’Mara). Meanwhile traveling through the Nevada Desert and through the ruins of Las Vegas, she runs into everyone’s favorite annoying RE side-character Carlos Olivera (Oded Fehr), and other survivors, all who must fight to survive extinction against hoards of zombies, killer crows and other hideous T-Virus creations.

Personally I give this trailer a big meh, but hopefully it’ll turn out better than the last two movies at the very least. I’ll probably see it regardless, I’m a sucker for popcorn flicks and I own the last two on DVD.
