That's ok, I just like to think we're all friends here so-to-speak, so I always feel strongly about talking to people as you would like to be spoken to, that's all.

Sorry if I stepped on your toes with the GBA VS PS3 comparison. We always stay unbiased here, or try very hard, and despite the mismatch it's just really surprising so many people would buy a GBA when the DS can also play GBA games for $50 more. I guess all the early- and late adopters are causing all these offputting console/handheld numbers.

I apologize that it was condescending. I was being rude, so I'm sorry. There's no excuse.

I agree with you on the issue of its software line-up. As of now that is its biggest obstacle. The price (while still somewhat of an issue) has been addressed to a degree.

As for the comparison of GBA sales versus PS3 (or other home consoles for that matter) likens to comparing sales of a Volkswagon Beetle to a Porsche. There's really no comparison, yet many game media outlets like to make it anyway.

In any case, ultimately, I apologize for my rudeness earlier. It was uncalled for.

Why are you talking down to people Kabapu? It doesn't make you smarter, it just makes you come across as a smartass. Ignoring for a moment that you missed that it was just a lighthearted joke, you're wrong too.

There have been rumors about a price drop all year long and none of them got confirmed until right before E3 in July. Sony was actually touting this week that PS3 console sales went up 21% between May and June. Besides you don't have to have studied economics to understand no PS3 games in the top 20 sales list isn't good, let's hope the price drop changes that so next month we'll see Resistance, Motorstorm, Ninja Gaiden Sigma or The Darkness in there.

"The word beating is used because somehow the GBA managed to outsell the PS3."

If you knew anything about supply and demand in relation to prices, you'd understand why this would be the case.

Not to mention the fact that many gamers (informed ones anyway) were aware that Sony planned on reducing the price of the PS3 at E3 and have been waiting for said price drop (as indicated by preliminary reports that sales this month may exceed 230,000).
