Rock Band for Xbox 360 and PS3, is an all-new platform for music fans and gamers to interact with music, that has a release date on November 20th 2007 in America. As Rock Band will allow gamers to perform music from the world’s biggest rock artists with their friends as a virtual band using a $199.99 Bundle with drum, bass/lead guitar and microphone peripherals. The game also has deep online multiplayer said to be like touring the country. Built on unprecedented deals with the world’s biggest record labels and music publishers (thanks to MTV who bought the developer), the music featured in Rock Band will span all genres of rock and include many of the master recordings from the biggest songs and artists of all time (see below for the list).

In this video interview you get to see the band customization toolkit, as well as the how Harmonix selected the music.

    I believe it’s called Guitar Hero mode ;) But seriously, in single player you can play as the guitar, drums or vocals, the other instruments will be played by computer players.

    Also, if you only want one or two players instead of three, then you can buy just the game and the peripherals you want separately, so you don’t have to spend the full $200.

    :cry: i can’t get the game :eek: the sucks the people who made it.i mean sure u can play up to 4 people and u got good songs but the graphics suck.i think this game will suck.

    Hi think its silly how amaricans got around nov. 20th n rest of world have to wait till some time round jan/feb 08 y couldnt they make the release dates a little closer together… only 1 good point the americans will get the Bug infected version… which rest of world wont get hopefully coz they have plenty of time to improve it. :evil: :mrgreen:
