Worlds Largest Gaming Center opening in the UK, more planned in Europe
It’s called Omega Sektor, and it’s a new high-tech recreation destination opening in the UK on August 10th, 2007. In the city of Birmingham on Corporation Street, it’s laid out across two floors.
The Gaming center will be the largest of its kind in the world and has over 440 of the highest spec PCs with multi-player LAN and online play, as well as a dedicated area for console gaming.
In addition to the catalogue of over 500 playable games, Olgn reports Omega Sektor will also offer music, movies, an Internet café and other entertainment areas, all set in a state-of-the-art and casual environment providing an original social experience for all ages and abilities.
The owner originally founded Omega Sektor in Kazakhstan back in 1999, where there are now 20 Gaming Centers. After the UK launch, he plans to open many more in cities across Europe like London, Barcelona, and Paris.
