Super Puzzle Fighter II for Game Boy AdvanceSuper Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is a an updated version of the classic puzzle game from Capcom that is now being released for a whole new next-gen, casual gaming audience on the Xbox 360 (Live Arcade), PS3 (via the PS3 Network Store) and PC (via Steam) this fall 2007.

Originally called Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, it was a frantic fast-paced gem-dropping puzzle game spoof on Street Fighter II: Turbo (with music and interface elements spoofing the Street Fighter Alpha series) featuring extremely chibi-looking (deformed) characters that are displayed in between the section where you play the puzzle game and they attack each other with special moves as you create combos in the Tetris Attack-style gem-dropper.

Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo was originally released for Japanese arcades in 1996, then ported to the PS1 in the US on Nov. 30th 1996 and released for the Sega Saturn on Feb. 28, 1997. But the only recent release of the game was on the Game Boy Advance on March 31st 2003.
