Far Cry 2 officially announced for PC by Ubisoft
The Far Cry 2 logo leaked last year, no word on Far Cry PSP yet, but publisher Ubisoft today officially confirmed Far Cry 2 is in development at Crytek for PC due Spring 2008. The teaser site shows an African savannah landscape and has a link to a contest where they give away 5 gifts weekly.
To quote Ubisoft about the game: “Far Cry marked the beginning of a new era for shooters. An era of gorgeous graphics and of advanced artificial intelligence. We are confident that Far Cry 2 will have the same impact again on the FPS genre landscape.”
The first look will be in the October edition of PC Gamer magazine that’s on news stands this August, reports Kotaku.
