The past week weâ€™ve given you the chance to win a free game, in our Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition competition, if you posted a comment on news that you read on VGB and let us know what game news that was about on the competition page.

We got a bunch of great comments from Resident Evil & Wii fans and we heartily thank everyone who participated. But only one can win, so we have now randomly selected the winner. We wrote all the names on paper, put them in a bowl and grabbed the winner’s name with our eyes closed, we got a little scared thinking about zombies in that moment of darkness, but if anyone can kill those zombies it’s going to be…

I would like to win Lair, myself.

And, You guys should’ve been given tickets to E3 and the Killzone invite: you guys are the only source I use for news anymore, because you are all even-handed and fair to all systems–good or bad news. The other sites I go on are for fanboy bashing because the publishers are mostly fanboys, especially 1up.com, I hate that site and now only go on it around a few times a week if at all. I hope you guys get recognition for the great work you do.

Uh supa i know Mario Strikers Charged comes out the 30th but can we have a chance to win that?

If not then can we have a chance to win Driver Parallel Lines or Transformers? Or if you do it next month could you give us a chance to win Metroid Prime 3 Curroption?

pixelsword, I’ll keep Lair in mind for when it comes out in a month. And seriously thanks for the kind words, really appreciate that. While we have our favorites like anyone, we enjoy staying unbiased, it just makes the news more fun for everyone.

Venom, will keep Mario Strikers in mind for when it’s released worldwide, it’s a great game, so that definitely helps its case. Right now we’re looking at how often we can afford to hold competitions, my dream would be to give away at least 1 weekly, but right now we’re trying to do it 1 or 2 times a month.

Like Supa said, I thank all you guys (all our readers) for the kind comments and your suggestions. We take every suggestion seriously! We do our work for you guys after all.

And yes we enjoy being able to do things big sites cannot do, which makes us unique, as well as being completely unbiased. Cause, while we do got our favorites like Supa said, the whole point of being a gamer is really to experience lots of different kinds of games, and fanboyism only stifles that. Cause there are great games for all systems.
