Soldier of Fortune: Platinum Edition for PCA brand new installment in the gruesome Soldier of Fortune first-person shooter franchises has been discovered via a listing for the game on GameStop’s web-site, with the title “Soldier of Fortune: Pay Back“. The game is coming from the “Activision Value” label and it will be released on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC this November.

The PC edition will cost $39.99 with the console versions going for $59.99.

Soldier of Fortune is a cult-classic PC first-person shooter series, famous for it’s gruesome and extremely realistic violence, that debuted in 2000. Eventually it made it’s way to consoles (on the Dreamcast and PS2, also the Mac) and was last seen with the sequel, Soldier of Fortune 2: Double Helix, which eventually landed on the Xbox in 2003 (after hitting PCs). The series has been quiet since, until now. We’ll give more details on the game once they are released.
