New Bruce Lee game in talks, hints daughter Shannon Lee

In a video interview with Gametrailers, they sit down with Shannon Lee, Bruce Lee’s daughter, to discuss her father’s gaming legacy.

What’s interesting here is that the daughter of the late (but still great) Bruce Lee is asked if there’s a new versus-style game or game based on one of this movies coming. Shannon Lee then hints:

“There’s definitely been talk. I can’t really say right now what’s going on. But definitely, we’re very excited.”

She then carries on talking about the ultimate Bruce Lee gaming experience…

A new Bruce Lee game is just what we need. However, it would seem unlikely for the tech guys to develope a Bruce Lee game unless they can master the movement, style, and rythym of Lee. Lee is a unique person, and to capture his form and put it into a game is not an easy task. Of course the main reason the first Bruce Lee game wasn’t good was because of technology. I’ve played alot of fighting games and NONE of them would compare to a true Bruce Lee game. Plus, with all of the fantasy fighting games out there the person making the game would HAVE to put more than a dozen fighting styles inside the game to compare. Not only that but they would HAVE to find a way to make his(Bruce Lee)combo’s flow like water, but not too much to where it looks like he’s drunk, lol, just enough to make it look like it’s really Bruce Lee doing it ya’know? Almost in a sense to make other people say “Damn are you watching a Bruce Lee movie”. I am a huge fan of Bruce and his family. His ways were simply breath taking.
