The Call of Duty 4 release date is November 5th, 2007. The most popular games table at Gamespot has revealed this [see COD4 date]. Gamestop also lists this date for COD4. After that American date, the European release follows on November 9th, 2007. But on August 22nd a worldwide simultaneous release date was promised by Activision on November 5th, 2007.

Perks is a new function in multiplayer that allows players to customize their online character with their own personal style of combat. With this Last Stand, you’ll get one last ditch effort to continue the fight before you bleed out, or take another lethal hit. When you customize your class with Last Stand, or choose a default class which has it, anytime you’re taken down, you’ll fall to the ground and instantly pull out your side arm.

While in Last Stand, you’ll be firing your side arm from the ground with one hand. Putting up one final last stand against the enemy before you bleed out, or they put one final round into you. Activision also showed off some new PC gameplay footage of the multiplayer mode in action. Take a look at the Last Stand multiplayer gameplay.

But there’s more, for the console FPS fans there’s the first console video for them. This pre-alpha gameplay footage is from the Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty 4.
