Metal Gear Solid 4 release date could be October 15 after 2007 launch hints in remixed trailer
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is set in the aftermath of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and continues the story in a way that leaves “no place to hide” for Solid Snake and will force our hero into unexpected circumstances.
This isn’t your average Metal Gear Solid 4 remixed game trailer. The video is tweaked to be smoother and shows the new effects of the PlayStation 3 exclusive. But that’s not what’s most remarkable about the trailer, it’s that at the end Konami jokes with a release date in not 2006, not 2008, but 2007! Gamevideos lists the release date at October 15th, 2007. We’ll believe it when we see it, but it would be fitting if it’s coming during Metal Gear’s 20th anniversary this year.
