Guitar Hero 3 initial 11 songs and guitar details revealed

Activision has announced Guitar Hero 3 will be coming to PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii in fall 2007. For the first time there are worldwide online multiplayer modes and new multiplayer action-inspired battle mode, grueling boss battles, unlockable content, and authentic rock venues.

The PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii versions each come with a new wireless exclusive Gibson guitar Les Paul model that will include a removable faceplates allowing you to later personalize your guitar, and a new button color design that will be integrated for an even greater authentic feel and rock experience. The PS2 version also gets a new exclusive shape, the classic Kramer guitar, also a Gibson brand.

The initial list of 11 face-melting songs include:

* Cherub Rock (by Smashing Pumpkins)
* Sabotage (by Beastie Boys)
* The Metal (by Tenacious D)
* My Name is Jonas (by Weezer)
* Knights of Cydonia (by Muse)
* Rock And Roll All Nite (as made famous by Kiss)
* School’s Out (as made famous by Alice Cooper)
* Slow Ride (as made famous by Fog Hat)
* Cult of Personality (by Living Colour)
* Barracuda (as made famous by Heart)

that oldskool guy or however u spell it should think about it. u gotta have stuff that everybody loves. like me, i grew up with old rock, acdc, areosmith, led zeplin, and all that good stuff, but i also love disturbed and metallica, even though metallica is more old school than people think.

and for evry 1 that put Jon Bon Jovi
he is more glam band than metal just like motley crue and poison which r some good bands but not as good as the rivaling bands metallica or megadeth

Guys Dragonforce wouldn’t be cool because most of it is just random power shredding not actual chords…too much distortion…..some AC/DC and hendrix would be nice though

What we really need is some Sammy Hagar tunes, maybe even an entire disk. Maybe some Bad Company or even Head East would be nice.

yeh sammy hagar would b nice but if they put van halen lets hope its not jump or we would have 2 do riffs and a solo mayb on a keyboard
