Guitar Hero 3 initial 11 songs and guitar details revealed

Activision has announced Guitar Hero 3 will be coming to PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii in fall 2007. For the first time there are worldwide online multiplayer modes and new multiplayer action-inspired battle mode, grueling boss battles, unlockable content, and authentic rock venues.

The PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii versions each come with a new wireless exclusive Gibson guitar Les Paul model that will include a removable faceplates allowing you to later personalize your guitar, and a new button color design that will be integrated for an even greater authentic feel and rock experience. The PS2 version also gets a new exclusive shape, the classic Kramer guitar, also a Gibson brand.

The initial list of 11 face-melting songs include:

* Cherub Rock (by Smashing Pumpkins)
* Sabotage (by Beastie Boys)
* The Metal (by Tenacious D)
* My Name is Jonas (by Weezer)
* Knights of Cydonia (by Muse)
* Rock And Roll All Nite (as made famous by Kiss)
* School’s Out (as made famous by Alice Cooper)
* Slow Ride (as made famous by Fog Hat)
* Cult of Personality (by Living Colour)
* Barracuda (as made famous by Heart)

I think some system of a down, tool, sublime, black sabbith, foo fighters, deftones and Puscifer would be some interesting add ins for a guitar game. they each have crazy riffs and great tabbs to play
I Know Good GUITAR SONGS

Ok first off the classic stuff is good and they need to get acdc and zepplin but cmon metalcore has the best guitar players example BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, ATREYU and they need screamo bands like SCARY KIDS SCARING KIDS and THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS and FROM AUTUMN TO ASHES the guitar players in these bands are amazing!

First – The Game is great !!! I like the old school’s. But if thers going to be another GH … IT NEEDS Hendrix and Zeppelin and Aerosmith.. Cocaine by Clapton and BUCKCHERRY – Crazy Bitch would Perfect. Black Betty – Ram Jam would also be a nice ” One hit wonder” in the game. Also a little modern Rock … Billy Talent – Fallen Leaves, Nickelback’s and c’mon BON JOVI – Shoot Thr the Heart and It’s my life. Sweet Home Alabama needs to apper 2.
