Guitar Hero 3 initial 11 songs and guitar details revealed

Activision has announced Guitar Hero 3 will be coming to PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii in fall 2007. For the first time there are worldwide online multiplayer modes and new multiplayer action-inspired battle mode, grueling boss battles, unlockable content, and authentic rock venues.

The PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii versions each come with a new wireless exclusive Gibson guitar Les Paul model that will include a removable faceplates allowing you to later personalize your guitar, and a new button color design that will be integrated for an even greater authentic feel and rock experience. The PS2 version also gets a new exclusive shape, the classic Kramer guitar, also a Gibson brand.

The initial list of 11 face-melting songs include:

* Cherub Rock (by Smashing Pumpkins)
* Sabotage (by Beastie Boys)
* The Metal (by Tenacious D)
* My Name is Jonas (by Weezer)
* Knights of Cydonia (by Muse)
* Rock And Roll All Nite (as made famous by Kiss)
* School’s Out (as made famous by Alice Cooper)
* Slow Ride (as made famous by Fog Hat)
* Cult of Personality (by Living Colour)
* Barracuda (as made famous by Heart)

Damn..why the heck is there no 3 days grace…what i really want in this game is bat country-avenged sevenfold…i mean damn..lets get some of the new school in the game that everyone has heard of…most people dont know the bands name they just know the songs…and by the way whats going to be the next hardest song to do…like jordan from guitar hero 2? but yeah where is the 3 days grace for sure…animal i have become,riot,its not over,over and over,home,just like you, i hate everything about you,let it die, and Pain..come on people get in the game..look at what your fans want once in a while…

well honestly i would of like to see some atreyu, Bullet for my Vallentine, and of course some trivium. Slipknot and Disturb does add a nice touch though but other than that i think the line up is pretty deacent.

Kenneth, 3 Days grace is f*cking terrible, (you are the ONLY fan who wants them or even LISTENS to them, retard) and “Miss Murder” is enough emo music for 1 game, avenged sevenfold also would be overkill.The hardest song BY FAR is gonna be Dragonforce-Through Fire and Flames.

AUDIOSLAVE, CRAZY TRAIN by OZZY, Cocaine by Eric Clapton,ANY HENDRIX OR LED ZEPPELIN, Aerosmith…..all would be awesome.

ok for all the stupid people out there there will not be a bunch of Modern Rock or Metal be cause the game is called “LEGENDS OF ROCK” so most of the songs on there are huge classic hits who rightfully have the title as LEGEND… this would mean bands that most people would know of and that are in the ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME
