Guitar Hero 3 initial 11 songs and guitar details revealed

Activision has announced Guitar Hero 3 will be coming to PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii in fall 2007. For the first time there are worldwide online multiplayer modes and new multiplayer action-inspired battle mode, grueling boss battles, unlockable content, and authentic rock venues.

The PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii versions each come with a new wireless exclusive Gibson guitar Les Paul model that will include a removable faceplates allowing you to later personalize your guitar, and a new button color design that will be integrated for an even greater authentic feel and rock experience. The PS2 version also gets a new exclusive shape, the classic Kramer guitar, also a Gibson brand.

The initial list of 11 face-melting songs include:

* Cherub Rock (by Smashing Pumpkins)
* Sabotage (by Beastie Boys)
* The Metal (by Tenacious D)
* My Name is Jonas (by Weezer)
* Knights of Cydonia (by Muse)
* Rock And Roll All Nite (as made famous by Kiss)
* School’s Out (as made famous by Alice Cooper)
* Slow Ride (as made famous by Fog Hat)
* Cult of Personality (by Living Colour)
* Barracuda (as made famous by Heart)

I disagree with all you people who are saying “old school rock is better than new metel”! who cares if they “made” modern metel wat it is, metel is better than old s*it but i will say this, korn does suck…. but that doesnt change the fact that metel would be better, and harder than songs they came up with!!!

Actually…I would puke if they put more than a very FEW songs of wailing cry baby death metal on My PRECIOUS GUITAR HERO….I mean isn’t everyone done with that crap yet?? I’m not even old, and it’s nothing but lame crybaby screeches and out of tune offbeat noise for metal head cranksters get back to real music you know?

I agree with.. sorry don’t remember, but whoever said about adding new stuff… and keep the old stuff on the 80′s… New stuff would be songs like…
