Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 coming to Wii and PS2 in holiday 2007 with new characters Nail, King Cold & King Vegeta

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 screenshotAtari has announced Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is in development for Wii and PS2. Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 combines the lightning fast fighting and action that have made Budokai Tenkaichi 1 and Budokai Tenkaichi 2 the #1 fighting games of 2005 and 2006. Developed by Namco Bandai and Spike, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 will be released during the 2007 holiday season.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 delivers an extreme 3D fighting experience, improving upon last year’s game with over 150 playable characters, enhanced fighting techniques, beautifully refined effects and shading techniques, making each character’s effects more realistic, and over 20 battle stages. In addition, an improved control system for the Wii will allow players to easily mimic signature moves and execute devastating energy attacks as they are performed in the Dragon Ball Z animated series.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 for Wii“Atari is incredibly excited to offer the ultimate chapter in the Budokai Tenkaichi series with over 20 new characters that have never been seen in any other DBZ video games such as Nail, King Cold and King Vegeta and battle stages that fans will love,” said Emily Anadu, Senior Product Manager, Atari, Inc. “Each year, the developers refine the game to bring fans closer to feeling like they are actually playing the show.”

In addition to the unprecedented number of characters and improved Wii control system, the environments have also been enhanced to feature day and night stages. The power of the moon in the night stages gives players additional ways to transform their characters and lets fans recreate some of their favorite memories from the show.

whats bester tenkaichi 1 2 or 3

I would like the new game to feature more equipment slots that are useable

i wish they put kid goku gt version that would be cool i know dis game is gunna be da best fighting game evr hopefully

Tbh making “customised” characters as in starting from scratch would ruin it. And new saiyan transformations like SSJ5 would be a joke.

But i agree with the force fields, got quite annoying on BT2 when you could smash hit a character from one force field to the next. The arenas need to be made MUCH bigger.

Also I think the story mode needs to be revamped and in MUCH more detail. Starting from the beginning of Dragonball all the way to the end of GT would own  . The cutscenes need a tidy up too, quite a few of the bits best didnt appear on BT2!

Power levels could be introduced as well as stats i think. The whole potora/stat system on BT2 really confused me. Needs something more simplified  .

Finally the characters need more “depth” – the characters always seemed so familar to each other in the game but its totally different on the anime. Perhaps change the styling of the attacks and improve the fighting system to how it is on the show.

But yeh it’s getting much better with every release so i can’t wait for future installments ^-^

Hey guys, i wish tehre should be an option where you can chose to unlock everything. Some people just like to use characters and play with there friends, and some dont, and for them they can have a story line if they want. But i wish they had something that will unlock everything, and let some of the rest, enjoy playing for fun.

its awesome posting things on these kind of websites, they should come out with a really cool dragonball game! KID GOKE iS AWESOME!

read me: I honestly don’t have anything negative to say regarding the game. I love it, of course I can agree to certain characters such as fusion with almost anyone.. But, I would really like to know if you can achieve full health as such characters did in story mode. The outcry of full health is very uniform, is full health possible in tenkaichi 3?
