Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 coming to Wii and PS2 in holiday 2007 with new characters Nail, King Cold & King Vegeta

Atari has announced Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is in development for Wii and PS2. Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 combines the lightning fast fighting and action that have made Budokai Tenkaichi 1 and Budokai Tenkaichi 2 the #1 fighting games of 2005 and 2006. Developed by Namco Bandai and Spike, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 will be released during the 2007 holiday season.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 delivers an extreme 3D fighting experience, improving upon last year’s game with over 150 playable characters, enhanced fighting techniques, beautifully refined effects and shading techniques, making each character’s effects more realistic, and over 20 battle stages. In addition, an improved control system for the Wii will allow players to easily mimic signature moves and execute devastating energy attacks as they are performed in the Dragon Ball Z animated series.

“Atari is incredibly excited to offer the ultimate chapter in the Budokai Tenkaichi series with over 20 new characters that have never been seen in any other DBZ video games such as Nail, King Cold and King Vegeta and battle stages that fans will love,” said Emily Anadu, Senior Product Manager, Atari, Inc. “Each year, the developers refine the game to bring fans closer to feeling like they are actually playing the show.”

In addition to the unprecedented number of characters and improved Wii control system, the environments have also been enhanced to feature day and night stages. The power of the moon in the night stages gives players additional ways to transform their characters and lets fans recreate some of their favorite memories from the show.

I just got this game to day on I’m on the Android saga but I’ve been dueling and this game is incredibly good! Awesome graphics, awesome skills, awesome maneuvers, and good melee combos. What’s cool about this is the story line is cool, its got good graphics, and when u do certain combos, the vision gets really cool. I really love this game! I have Tenkaichi 3 PS2 Exclusive Edition with the videos from EBGames….I REALLY LOVE THIS GAME!! IT PWNS!

Gohan, Tenkaichi 3 can only fight online in the WII version, not the PS2 but it does go online but not for PS2….Only for Wii it goes online battling. Pretty disappointing but the game is awesome

Me again…does tenkaichi 3 have any forcefields? And when I saw the commercials it said coming soon for Wii. Can anybody give me the exact date when its coming out for Wii?

I need an exact date too and about how everyone is saying the force fields should be taken out… They should just be extended so theres more space because without them you could just keep running forever + people can’t just edit the map so it goes on forever anyways

In dragon ball z budokai tenkaichi 3 they should have more ki blast attacks ( kamehameha, big bang attack.etc) for each character so it has about 3 or 4 ki blast attacks and about 2 ultimate blast attacks, and that would make the game a hell of a lot better!

I think that it would be cool if they had those rush attacks( you know, when you go charging at them and beat the crap out of them, and they’re helpless to do anything about it) have more hits to them so it does a lot more damage, and that would be awesome!
