Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 coming to Wii and PS2 in holiday 2007 with new characters Nail, King Cold & King Vegeta

Atari has announced Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is in development for Wii and PS2. Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 combines the lightning fast fighting and action that have made Budokai Tenkaichi 1 and Budokai Tenkaichi 2 the #1 fighting games of 2005 and 2006. Developed by Namco Bandai and Spike, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 will be released during the 2007 holiday season.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 delivers an extreme 3D fighting experience, improving upon last year’s game with over 150 playable characters, enhanced fighting techniques, beautifully refined effects and shading techniques, making each character’s effects more realistic, and over 20 battle stages. In addition, an improved control system for the Wii will allow players to easily mimic signature moves and execute devastating energy attacks as they are performed in the Dragon Ball Z animated series.

“Atari is incredibly excited to offer the ultimate chapter in the Budokai Tenkaichi series with over 20 new characters that have never been seen in any other DBZ video games such as Nail, King Cold and King Vegeta and battle stages that fans will love,” said Emily Anadu, Senior Product Manager, Atari, Inc. “Each year, the developers refine the game to bring fans closer to feeling like they are actually playing the show.”

In addition to the unprecedented number of characters and improved Wii control system, the environments have also been enhanced to feature day and night stages. The power of the moon in the night stages gives players additional ways to transform their characters and lets fans recreate some of their favorite memories from the show.

The dragon ball budokai tenkaichi games are cool.
But I hope on this game goku can go super saiyajin 4 by presing the R3 of the playstation 2.Because on budokai tenkaichi 2 it can only go super saiyan 3 and you have to select goku ss4 as a different player.

yo we need more super saiyan transformations like ssj4 trunks and gohan ssj3 vegeta ssj5 goku ssj raditz bardock and king vegeta and one thing I have never seen how bout a ssj4 broly that would be amazing umm as for fusions the only thing i wanna see is an adult gotenks and maybe ssj5 gogeta and ssj4 gotenks

most of the stuff you are talking about is fan fiction king vegeta and bardock and raditz are all dead but goku and vegeta trabsforming to ss4 in game would be alot better.

Vegeta returned to help King Vegeta and Bardock to defeat King Cold and Frieza.

All the saiyans get destroyed except Vegeta but suddenly the son Bardock known by saiyans as Kakarot but prefers to be called goku appears.Goku and Vegeta team up to fight King Cold and Frieza.

Goku and Vegeta defeat King Cold and Frieza.

you guys should keep the tag team feature on the game

Personally i think you should be able to edit everyones clothes/accessories. Then you wouldnt have to pick different characters, eg. vegeta (Cell saga), vegeta (Buu saga), let us select attire they wear and let us select moves they use like budokai 3, i like tenkaichi but we need extras, and budokai had what if stories, skill edits, etc.
we need custom attire (Piccolo with scouter, picture it hahah), custom skills and power levels. Also for god sake give vegeta super saiyan 3, he could have, R3 ss1, left+R3 ss2, up+R3 ss3, right+R3 ss4. Majin vegeta should be an attatchable item and should be attached to all transformations, heck why not let everyone have option to be majin, just have it as a skill or accessory. Its these things we need, dragonball z story is kind of dry now and needs programmers to make new things, new stories, new options, new modes, etc. power levels would be a huge hit.
One last thing, i noticed in tenkaichi 2 that not is their 5 vegetas, but why two adult gohans???
Mystic is a level not a different person for hell sake, and give him the option of his z sword and mystic fighting suit, in tenkaichi 2 peoples alternate custumes are c.rap, tien has extra blue suit…when did he wear blue? Vegeta has black suits, when does he wear black??? chuck in new clothes and let us dress our charcters as we’d like, it would put your ratings way up.
