The Godfather 2: The Game sequel in development at EA

A financial analysis document from Nollenberger Capital Partners reveals that Electronic Arts might already be working on The Godfather 2.

To quote: “Interestingly, we learned that EA is leveraging the significant amount of development time and costs that went into The Godfather game. The open-world engine was built from the ground up for Godfather, and is now being used by five different franchises, including The Simpsons. Godfather 2 is also in development currently, though timing is unknown,” reports Worthplaying.

Whereas The Godfather: The Game from 2006 was based on the 1972 film of the same name, the future The Godfather 2: The Game will no doubt be based on the 1974 Francis Ford Coppola directed film The Godfather: Part II.

it would be a gd idea to be able to invest in banks and buy banks and other buildings for example … 5 star hotels .. more combat moves and grapples and make the handling better whilst driving … also when you buy buildings or take over them … have a boss for each property . and of course buy politics which gives you more info on side quests and earning big bucks .. thanks for reading =)

i reckon a flick between the 2 periods of time wud be cool, as vito as a young man and michael in the present

I reckon in Godfather 2 there should be more clothes, voices, Shops, States, Country, Places.

1. More Places To Visit and shops. Like Cafes and Car Dealers Places.

2. When get get money more cars can be brought like if your don Mercedes or a Roll Rocye.

3. Build Hotels, Casinos, Cafes , Shops Busienss etc.

4. More Voices like deep, med, solf

5. All Mafia wear differnt clothes not the colour of the Famiglia

6.More clothes likea Treach Coat.

7. Able to hold items like flowers, Cigars, Smokes, Burger, Food drinks.

8.more people and story lines and hits.

9. Able to build or move into bigger houses like a estate or beach side place.

10. able to buy places around USA Mafia Hot Spots like Miami like what in real life Lanskyland.

11. more mission with micheal and a couple of Don Vito in early days.

12. able to explan business and to have contatc and a mission in Sicily with drug trades

13. Different States were gangster where like Miami and chicago, Las Vages.

14.Able to drive to Airports and takes a flight to a differnt state.

15 albe to make a Gang, Famiglia or outfit and to recruit men from Famiglia etc or new people.

16. Able to have a undercover job like a lawyer, busniness man, gun seller, food shop owner, cafe owner, strip club etc.

16. to shoot in a car and to jump out of a car at high speeds.

17. able to marry and date.

18. make friends with gangster not kill them.

19. bribe other gangster to come and join.

20. More weapons and to have bodyguards with you at all times or when you want them.

21. Help micheal with cuba and other busniness and been a liie of the Corleone’s but you own a outfit or Gang of your own.

22. Meet the Shea Brothers like in The Godfather reveage and return etc.

23. able to go to jail and serve a time like a day in jail or pay a fine.

thinking about it,the young vito would have to be fixed missions and not free roaming or they would have to build another NYC to reflect the time

hopefully they will be able to bring everyone else back again,as the first game was pretty great with all the cast members…okay it wasnt pacino as michael,but the guy they got in did a decent job

It would be cool if you actually start as a little kid cleaning the floors and toilets of a Mafia Family and later on when you come to a certain age you become a made men.

I think a new Godfather game would be great! Me and my friends love the godfather, we would buy it for sure. I think that you should be able to choose your voice though, or maybe have something where you can put your own voice in. You know, more things to say etc. and more mobface and cloths features. I can’t think of much else expect that the game will be great!

Oh I have a good idea, I wish EA would read this

The game would take off from where you kill the heads of the 4 families, when you aren’t Don yet. You would still do missions for Michael and there would be some characters from the movie. In the flashbacks, you would play as yourself BEFORE Luca found you. The story would tell how you made it to that place where the gang was beating you up in the first game. Then in the main story you could help in the missions like in the movie (like the first game also) but add in the stuff from my post above.
