Midnight Club 4: Los Angeles racing to Xbox 360 and PS3 in early 2008

Rockstar Games announced the fourth installment of its Midnight Club franchise, Midnight Club: Los Angeles. Developed by series creator Rockstar San Diego, Midnight Club 4: Los Angeles will be available for the Xbox 360 & PS3 in early 2008. No word yet on if Rockstar are using real-life cars or designing their own.

“Midnight Club’s addictive blend of freedom, style and sheer sense of speed sets it apart from its competition,” said Sam Houser, Founder and Executive Producer of Rockstar Games. “With Midnight Club: Los Angeles, Rockstar San Diego looks to once again push the boundaries and expectations of what a racing game can be. Rockstar San Diego has always been the technology leader in delivering the ultimate racing experience, and with this game, they are looking to re-define the idea of a completely immersive racing game experience, both offline and online.”

“On prior consoles, the Midnight Club franchise continually raised the bar for racing games, evolving from being the first ever street racing game to setting the defining standard for credibly integrating street racing culture with an intense racing experience,” said Jay Panek, Producer of the Midnight Club series.

He continued: “With Midnight Club: Los Angeles, our goal is to evolve on all possible levels and stay true to the hardcore gaming experience the series is known for, while making it accessible to casual gamers and car enthusiasts.”

I agree, ps2 and xbox couldn’t handle the graphics. It’s a great next gen addition to NEXT GEN consoles. Who gives a rats ass if it doesn’t come out on the LAST gen consoles. DO like moonwolfe said, modernise if u can wooptidoo, if u cant stop complaining and save up till u can get one. Geez…

i’m just making this clear. Notice how on the last midnight club for ps2 and xbox there was one ferrari and one gemaballa (porsche). MC3 had like a skip in cars( from like 60k to like 180k cars. With the better graphics they will be able to add many more cars like the ferrari f430, porsche 911 turbo etc. It would cost them MORE money to make a game suitible for ps2 to lower graphic standards and they would NOT make more money. And also whoever said put it on the wii is on crack

lol quit complaining about it only being for Xbox 360 and the Ps3 you nubs need to just go buy the newer equipment, and they are making more money by only putting it out on the xbox360 and ps3 because they have major contract deals with sony and microst to only produce it for them so they made instant cash intstead of hoping MC4 does good on other shet systems The reason why microsoft and Ps3 purchased the rights to sell MC4 is so they can make more console sales along with commission profits from selling the game on there console.

all i need, is some nice ass cars, some that you never so in other acing games, and a nice ass city. Added to that, nice parts for the cars.

The city MUST be bigger than ever, because its an online game, Midnight club 4 needs the most cars and parts even, a whole lot of features add with that, much better superchargers, and Turbos, Intercoolers at the bottom of the bumpers, head lights and tails light, and a whole lot of parts to go with the game. The good thing about this game, it will have day and night with 24 hours. The types of weather they should put, is rain, snow and thick fog. But then, the chrome on the wheels will get rusty, thats where they should put an automatic carwash, where you can just drive up and the computer comes in and does the rest for you. A next thing that will be nice, is the real car sounds, and when you add an intake, exhaust system, turbo/ supercharger, with that blow off valve whisling down the gears, will be the best. Added with that, since they have the inside veiw of the car, the (cock pit) lol, they should put turbo/supercharger gauges on the side or have it where ever you want.
