There is a book before the first Halo game, its the storyline to who Spartan 117 is and why he is there, and it covers the entire storyline as to why there is a war, the summary is in the Halo 1 and Halo 2 storyline game videos and book summaries page.

I agree they should definitely go back to before the first Halo game came about. That way people would understand the background of Master Chief and why he was born as the greatest Spartan alive.

i think they should make a game like halo the beggining thats before the first game starts
I have no idea what happens in the first game but anyways they should make a game that takes place before the training starts in the game
Like when John (117) is entering the acadamy and training but i dont know

Yeah Teddy, like Cryos says you can get them at the bookstore. BUT if you don't feel like buying them, you can check out the Halo 1 and Halo 2 storyline game videos and book summaries page.

Teddy, you can get the books at the local bookstore, I know that Barnes and Nobles has them, and you can always go with Ebay.
