Sega reveals Typing of the Dead 2 sequel for PC and Mac

The Typing of the Dead for PCThe offbeat Dreamcast/PC original game from 2000 based on The House of the Dead 2, where you type words on your keyboard (instead of shooting) to kill zombies, is getting a sequel. Sega recently revealed its plans to release Typing of the Dead 2 on the PC and Mac.

No word in what country it’ll be release, on what date, nor if the sequel will also have a co-op mode. Here’s the trailer:

Awesome! I can’t wait to get this. I actually have Typing of the Dead for Dreamcast but lack both a DC and a keyboard for it. lol. So I’ve never payed it. This is a smart move on Sega’s part. Let’s hope it sells.

i had the absolute pleasure of playing typing of the dead on my trip to tokyo last year.

It was balls funny but rock hard.

I’m also sure it’d be much more entertaining if i could touch type and therefore see what was going on whilst playing but you can’t have everything i suppose….
