Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai – Another Road for PSP takes the intense wireless multiplayer battles and combative gameplay made popular in 2006’s game and adds an improved fighting system with over 50 new fighting skills and ultimate attacks and will send players into a completely new story arc following the future world of Trunks on his adventures against rival Majin Buu.
Key features include:
* 18 playable characters, including in-game transformations to more powerful forms.
* Each transformed character has differentiated moves and fighting styles.
* Single player mode that allows fans to relive the best Dragon Ball Z and GT battles.
Does the newest chapter of the DBZ saga bring anything new to the table, or are we just playing the same old game we’ve played a dozen times before? Find out in this Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai – Another Road video review.
To quote the video review: “The battles are fun for a while, but it isn’t too difficult to find a combo that will work against a particular character every time. The most difficult battles are with enemies that can quickly recover health, which is more of an annoyance than anything.
Overall, Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai – Another Road is a decent fighter, but it doesn’t really bring anything new to the table. Dragon Ball fans who just want to battle it out can stick to the arcade gameplay, but the main story mode that differentiates it brings far more frustration than enjoyment.”
