Cheon Ho Park plays the beautiful Final Fantasy X theme

Final Fantasy X - Piano Collections CDFinal Fantasy X is easily one of my personal top 5 favorite games of all time. I simply was blown away in every way, shape and form with the game. And boy did it ever have excellent music!

In the 8th installment of Cheon Ho Parks “Final Fantasy Piano Collection” renditions, he plays the song in the opening of Final Fantasy X (It’s called “To Zanarkand“), as well as in a few other parts throughout the game. But most people will remember it from the scene with the gang surrounding the campfire. This scene plays when you fire the game up, and for most people it was their first taste of the first next-gen Final Fantasy and the new music, characters, and setting they were about to experience. Of course, what stuck out most was the amazing (for the time) real-time graphics. Remember watching in amazement at Titus’ mouth and eye movements? It was so realistic.
I love how Cheon Ho Park set up the candles and the lava lamp in this beautiful piece, it really does enhance the mood. All in all I thought he did an excellent job. Makes me wanna play Final Fantasy X again! Which btw, you can check out my original review of Final Fantasy X to see how you might like the game.
