Geometry Wars 2: Retro Evolved sequel coming to Xbox Live Arcade hints Bizarre Creations
The Xbox 360 launched its Xbox Live service with the new downloadable arcade game Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved back in November 2005.
When CVG asked Bizarre Creations developers Sam Hall and Nick Bygrave, who are now working on Boom Boom Rocket for a Spring 2007 release, if we’ll see more of the psychedelic Xbox Live Arcade shooter in the future? They replied simply with shared looks, giggles and a hushed response “we can’t say anything about that”.
Considering how big a hit the original was, it’ll be no surprise when a Geometry Wars 2: Retro Evolved sequel eventually arrives. I hope it has online co-op to make it more fun.
