THQ announces DS and PSP game Worms Open Warfare 2 for the summer; DS game Drawn to Life for September 2007

Worms Open Warfare on PSPWorms Open Warfare on DSTHQ has revealed in its latest release schedule that a new sequel in the 13-year-old Worms franchise is set for release in the summer of 2007. Worms Open Warfare 2, as the sequel to 2006’s Worms Open Warfare on DS and PSP is called, will once again be coming to both handhelds.

This time around the strategy game will include new weapons, new single- and multiplayer modes, as well as online Wi-Fi gaming on both platforms for up to 4 players. Since the online multiplayer mode kept the previous game from achieving that classic computer and console mad-fun-factor, fans should be excited. :)

THQ’s release list also showed they are publishing 5th Cell’s DS game Drawn to Life in September 2007. In the game your exact drawings populate the game, and no tedious animating or image manipulation is necessary. In other words, your drawings come to life! I hope that they have the Holy Hand Grenade and the Super Sheep. Those are my favorite weapons!!!!!!!!!
