Kingdom Hearts 3 movie shows the Keyblade War

Everybody wants Kingdom Hearts 3. So does Reetesh who sent in the first movie that “was so cool that it sent chills down my spine.” The new video shows a teaser for Square Enix’s next RPG game in the Kingdom Hearts series.

It’s the extended, full cinematic ending to the newly released Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix + game that was released in Japan this week and might be released in English in fall 2007. You’ve probably seen the first minute and a half before from the ending of the original Kingdom Hearts II, but this cinema shows an extra four minutes of action. Did Roxas just get frozen and is Mickey responding to his own Batman-signal? Will Sora still be a main character?

KH3.net translated the text into: “The Keyblade is said to hold phenomenal power. One legend says its wielder saved the world, while another says that he wrought chaos and ruin upon it. I must know what this Keyblade is. A key opens doors.” -Ansem Report 8 & 9.

The interlude then says: “Master of Keyblade. The Lost Two. Memory of Xehanort. Chasers. Keyblade War. It all began with… birth by sleep.”

A translation of the action scene reads: “A sealed tale of truth… The fate of all occurs not by chance… The fate of all is inevitable… Each of their fates pass through and gather together. A new story awaits the awakening…”

Update June 2009: In a recent interview with Tetsuya Nomura, the creative director of the Kingdom Hearts series, he had this to say about Square Enix’s plans for Kingdom Hearts 3: “KH3. Even though I’m currently busy with Final Fantasy versus XIII, I’m also thinking that it’s almost time to start thinking about it seriously. Though it’s entirely possible that the next game in the series won’t be KH3.”

Update August 2009: Kingdom Hearts series creator Tetsuya Nomura has told Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu that the end of Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep for the PSP will reveal more about Kingdom Hearts [3]. To quote: “I think there are a lot of puzzling elements, so maybe they’ll want to play the next game… And there’ll be a secret movie too.” He declined to say if “the next game” meant Kingdom Hearts 3, only stating: “The next game will be the next game (laughs)”

This game looks totally awesome.. we’ve been discussing the possibilities of this on youtube but we think that the blue haired girl is Aqua, the boy that looks like Roxas is Ven and the old guy is Xemnas’ nobody.. or something like that XD there is a trailer that plays this in slow motion you should watch it.. its really good and it shows the similarities between the sage and Xemnas

well i cant look at it, but doesnt the heartless thing the old guy makes wear that thing rikku wore when he was working for ansem in the first one… HUH?! brah ummmmm…. yeah terra looks kinda of cool, but i still hope sora and rikku r in this… because they rock ur socks

K..to let you all know..the people in the video ARE NOT sora riku and kairi..they are connected but are not the same people. The bald man is Xehanort’s souless..since xemnas was killed..and since a nobody turns into a souless when it’s defeated to form a new being. The old bald dude is Xehanort’s soulless. As for the three people…The Tall one was named Terra, the blue haired girl is Aqua, and the blonde boy is Ven. All of their names have to do with Sora’s, Kairi’s, and Riku’s names. They may be their souless..but it has still not been said.
