New Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier game coming to PSP or PS3?

Sony developer Naughty Dog has worked on a PSP title before and released two games of their Crash Bandicoot series on the portable in the past two years (Crash Tag Team Racing, Crash Bandicoot). As for the Jak and Daxter series, another Sony developer Ready at Dawn has of course released Daxter on PSP, but the resume of voice actor Robin Atkins Downes revealed (it’s since been removed) the unannounced title “Jak PSP“. He has apparently provided his voice for a new character named Captain Phoenix according to Wikipedia.

More interesting is a Sony patent for Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier that was filed on April 21, 2006. While it doesn’t mention if the platform is PSP or PS3, it does say patent #78867309 is for videogame software and an online-real-time game for others over global and local area computer networks. Which makes sense as Daxter also featured a 1-4 player multiplayer Bug Combat mode.

PSPfanboy concludes that with Ready at Dawn working on God of War, it could be possible that Naughty Dog is working on a PSP Jak game internally. However, with no concrete evidence available right now, this rumor remains exactly that.

at this stage there is no official storyline that has been released for jak and daxter the last fronteir but noughty dog has officially secured the name which means that it is certainly goin to come out so at this stage no1 will no the story line

The new Jak and Daxter game sounds pretty awesome. I am living in hopes that they do indeed make one.

Unlike most of you haha, I actually understand how the time thing worked out.

OK Jak And Daxter showed him in his teens you might say.

Then in Jak II they show him go 500 years into the furture, where he finds the child version of himself.

They sent kid jak back into time so that he would grow into what he became in Jak II

Then in Jak III you find that Jak’s father lost him in Haven City, and the childs real name was mar. Making Jak the legendary Mar.

At the end of Jak III Jak is supposed to head back in time to do everything that the legendary Mar did. Because jak is mar. But thats just it, Jak can go back at ANY TIME to fulfill his destiny of creating the earth. Because it’s already happened and all he has to do is go back in time ^^

Jak 4 The Lost Frontier more then likely will show another city. Or “the lost frontier”. Where more then likely Jak will find some one else to protect

(oh and heres the thing, the reason he is going to know how to make the precursor technology is because he’s already seen what he made, so he learned from what he will do in the past. It’s not so complicated when you lay it out and think some.)

i really hope they make for the psp ps2 and ps3 because as the other guys said alot of people dnt have ps3 and if they make it for psp ps2 and ps3 it would sell way more if they just make it for the ps3 not much people will bye it because not much people have ps3 cause of the price

ive beet jak 1 2 and three like 5 times so im a huge fan i hope they do make a jak 4 but i really dont lik raceing. i saw a traler wheresamos repeeting “The dark eco probubly destroyed them…probubly”so im guessing jak,daxter,samos,keria, sig and torn going back to there own time and jak help young jak defeet the evil coupel Gol and Mia

ok the forth one is most likely to be that.jak is going back in time to his home town where he started (jak and daxter the precusre legacy or how ever you spell it) and he is going back to stop all the mess that happend in the past so there is two suggestion in mined one eather gol and mia come back and he gos to stop them. the next one is he and dax go and stop the metal heads from destoring the village to save the future or stop the metal heads and stop the gol and mia and daxter might just might turnback to his normal self becuse rember this jak fist destroyed gol and mia in the first one with the light eco right well jak in the third one got light eco so if he goes back in time stop gol and mia hes alredy got light eco so what if he uses the light eco that he s already got to destroy goland mia and use the light eco that they used inthe first one and change daxter back to his normal self now get i dint even have to think about it its that easy sothat is my sugestion HOPE YOU LIKE IT

I think it should be out on ps2,psp,and ps3 because that way anyone can enjoy Jack and Daxter:The lost Frontier.And also so I can get it on ps2 and psp.

I think that it should go on ps2 psp and ps3 that way I dont have to worry about getting a ps3 or psp just to play it
