Warner Bros. confirms Lego Batman for 2008
We reported on a “Lego Batman” game in September last year, and just as Astro today went “Lego Mario” crazy, Warner Bros. now officially announced “Lego Batman: The Videogame” for release in 2008!
Following the huge success of “Lego Star Wars” and its sequel, Warner Bros. has signed a licensing deal with Lego (who we reported hired Traveller’s Tales) to produce a “Lego Batman” game.
Both “Lego Star Wars” titles were also made by Traveller’s Tales and sold several million units in the U.S. alone. They are family-friendly games featuring characters and settings from the “Star Wars” universe made out of the famous toy bricks. — Via Variety
