New Pokemon (Mysterious Dungeon Gold and Silver?) dual-game announced for DS

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl have only been released in Japan so far (coming to U.S. on April 22, the rest of the world later) yet they’ve together already sold over 5 million copies in one country! So what do you do when you’ve got a hot series? Make more spinoff games of it of course!

The latest issue of Japanese magazine Famitsu has revealed a new Pokemon game is coming that is different from the latest dual-game Pokemon Diamond & Pearl, because it isn’t one of the main Pokemon RPG games. Instead, developer Chunsoft (who made the dual-game Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red for GBA & Blue for DS that together sold 5.5 million copies worldwide!) is once again taking on the license for an as-yet unnamed dual-game release set for release in Japan sometime in 2007. No word on releases elsewhere. Our guess is these are new Pokemon Mysterious Dungeon games!

Both new Pokemon (Mysterious Dungeon Gold and Silver?) games will be for Nintendo DS only and will feature WiFi online support!

The game’s designers are hoping WiFi gaming will give players the feeling of playing with others. And the games could also take advantage of DS features like the touch screen and microphone. Hopefully we’ll hear more about these games and their official names soon.

yeah it seems much more fun then the original mystery dungen game, i wonder like how u recrute(spelled it wrong) other pokemon like b4 and it just seems sooo different then the original one.

the starters are bulbasaur, charmander, sqriutle, chickorita, chindaquil, todidile, treeko, torchick, mudkip, turtwig, chimchar, piplup, pikachu, munchlax and MAYBE riolu.

this game rite here is gunna be fire…..I beat the 1st in lik 5 months it took me so long cause I dnt cheat….I hope thos 1 takes l0nger so I can burm spme spare time

Riolu is NOT a Starter. But Skitty is =P

And you can actually recruit evolved forms of Pokemon (YAY!)

How dare they don’t have Riolu as a starter. It also sucks that Eevee isn’t one of them anymore. If anyone has an idea of why Riolu isn’t a starter, then tell.

riolu is so in the game as a starter they say it on all the websites. and eevee might be a starter

Riolu is NOT a starter. It does NOT include
him in the playable pokemon list on the official japenese website, apparently he was going to be a starter but didn’t make the final cut.
