Odama was a new type of real-time tactical pinball game released on GameCube last year. It’s set in the warring-states period in Medieval Japan. Odama is very different from any other type of pinball, because the ball (or metal sphere or Odama) is controlled by commanding your troops with a microphone. Tell them to “Press Forward” and they will push with all of their energy, etc. to complete the in-game missions.
Yoot Saito, the creator of Odama and Seaman, showed off a version of Odama using the Wii remote controller and nunchuck attachment instead of the GameCube microphone to control troops at a Japanese Media Arts Festival.

It’s not yet known if this is a prototype of an Odama sequel, a GameCube remake (also called Wiimake as only controls would change), or a controls experiment for a new Yoot Saito Wii project. — Via 4CR
“Yoot saito’s Odama” this name has got so much stuck into my head that whenever I say say “woot” I echo “woot saito’s odama” (in my mind
)
The controller for the GC already looked lie a wiimote so it would be very easy to wiimake(
) it I guess
Odama is an excruciating game to finish on the GameCube; if they do port it, they should consider making it easier; I had to cheat just to get past the fourth stage.
