European PS3 launch still has 27 games after delays

This Friday the PlayStation 3 will launch in Europe. Only the 60GB model will initially be available in the UK. Other PAL territories (Europe, Australia, New Zealand) will still be able to get the 20GB model. On 23rd March the console will be available at varying prices, of around £425/€599 for the 60GB model, in all the different countries.

The 1 million European PS3’s that will be available won’t have a choice of 39 games as first expected, despite the delayed titles mentioned below, there will still be a whopping 27 retail and downloadable games available this week!

These retail PS3 games have been delayed until after the European launch: Splinter Cell: Double Agent (March 30), NBA 2K7 (April 6), F.E.A.R. (April 20), Oblivion (April 27), and Untold Legends (April 27).

The following PlayStation Network PS3 downloadable games have also been spread out until after the European launch: Super Rub-A-Dub (March 30), flOw (April 6), Go! Sudoku (April 13), Go! Puzzle (April 20). And arriving after that are: Gripshift, Calling All Cars, Q*Bert, and Mortal Kombat II.
