It’s both funny and random. A Super Mario Bros. skit that went great until some guy made it all awkward.

Yes, that was the Mario Bros. and Zelda creator Shigeru Miyamoto! As Mega64 explain in their podcast, they were asked by the GDC staff to do a spoof for them and in the end they were allowed to do a shoot with Miyamoto. :D
