Resident Evil Outbreak File #2 goes offline on March 31

First Konami takes Metal Gear Solid 3 offline and now Capcom announced that the server for their PlayStation 2 online game Resident Evil Outbreak: File#2 will be closing at the end of March 2007.

Since Resident Evil Outbreak File #2 was released in April 2005 in America and August 2005 in Europe, Capcom has provided a server enabling gamers to experience the online element of this game free of charge. File 1 will remain online!

To quote: “Regretfully, conditions now dictate that we must close down this server effective from March 31, 2007. Naturally it will still be possible to play the game offline, but the online component will no longer be available.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who have been loyal members of the RE Outbreak community for the past months.”

Yea, i just got resident evil outbreak file#2 and i played it and i was very impressed. Until i got to the online part. I was tired of the stupid computer players dying on me on very hard mode (im sure all of you know how that feels) so i wanted to play with actual people that wouldn’t die. I found that online didn’t work worth a $hit. The game clearly states that it’s an online game, which was the main reason i bought the game. Plus, i played the elimination (A mini-game to REO F#2) And i was totally F#$king awsome! except that it was 1 player and i couldn’t play it with any one at all! I really think Capcom should rethink thier decision about this because it’s a really awsome games and i bet plenty of people would like to play it online (Including myself.
CAPCOM:If you care for your users and want to keep them buying, Plz hold up to your game promises and put it back online.

Capcom lame never bring online back cuz..,i need to finish my game quickly and i need my team to help to complete game..,i try play solo too hard complte hard and very hard…,can u bring capcom bring back online so i can complete my collection tht i finish half..,
