Play Mercenaries 2 in online co-op on PS3 (and Xbox 360)
Update: EA just announced the game will be coming to Xbox 360, PC, PS3 and PS2 in the Christmas period this year.
The latest issue of the UK’s Official PlayStation Magazine has a feature on Mercenaries 2: World In Flames for PS3. The reason the headline says Xbox 360 as well, is because the developer Pandemic has said to be working on next-gen titles, that and the game is being published by multiplatform king EA.
As for the big new feature: online co-op multiplayer. “Multiplayer will work in a similar way to that of Gears of War - with one player inviting another into an existing game, where both can wreak double the destruction by teaming up to take on the campaign missions. Meanwhile, recruiting your merc buddies during operations opens up new missions, and enables you to take a minion along for the ride to offer some backup.”
Another new features is the new grappling hook gizmo can be employed in a variety of actions - fire it into enemy soldiers, use it to commandeer helicopters or climb buildings, and maybe even latch onto passing speedboats for some relaxing waterskiing. Via Gamesradar

All i would like to know is how to even play online……. seeing as i dont gots Gears idk wtf your talking about…. plz explain it to me
