Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales first English video
Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales for DS combines field exploration like that of an RPG, with card-based battles. It’ll be released in April. Unlike the most recent Square Enix DS title, Final Fantasy III, in this game Chocobo will be heading out on adventure when he gets sucked into a picture book.
It may just be me, but I thought the look of a Chocobo being the one to ride a Turtle to win a race in a hand-drawn popup book scenario was badass and cool*.
*completely adorable and funny to boot.
