Rayman Raving Rabbids uses camera on Xbox 360 version. Release with DS version in March.

Rayman Raving Rabbids on Xbox 360 uses cameraRayman Raving Rabbids marked the return of the iconic video-game hero, Rayman, in his funniest and zaniest adventure ever. The game was first launched on the Nintendo Wii where it made the most of the Wii’s motion-sensitive controllers in its many mini-games as you acted out what was happening onscreen. Run races on animals, fight in the arena, dance, or engage in plunger-shooting action!

Standard editions of the game followed in 2006 on PC, PS2 & GBA, Ubisoft couldn’t get enough of building the game up around specific control systems. Result: the upcoming March 6/7th 2007 releases of the game on Xbox 360 & Nintendo DS.

Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales first English video

Final Fantasy III is Square's latest DS gameFinal Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales for DS combines field exploration like that of an RPG, with card-based battles. It’ll be released in April. Unlike the most recent Square Enix DS title, Final Fantasy III, in this game Chocobo will be heading out on adventure when he gets sucked into a picture book.

It may just be me, but I thought the look of a Chocobo being the one to ride a Turtle to win a race in a hand-drawn popup book scenario was badass and cool*.
*completely adorable and funny to boot.

Xbox Rewards Program gives free prizes for your increase in gamerscore

Get gaming with your Xbox 360 controller already, achievements await!Since launching in November 2005, Achievements and gamerscore have taken the gaming world by surprise. The “Achievement Unlocked” alert makes not firing once in the first 60-seconds of “Geometry Wars Retro Evolved” appears perfectly normal. Looking for hours on end for the 50th survivor in “Dead Rising” seems like just another day’s work. In fact, since the Xbox 360 launched, more than 200 Million Achievements have been unlocked.

Xbox 360 is teaming up with Old Spice to bring the first Xbox Rewards Challenge to Xbox Live. Gamers will be charged with increasing their gamerscore by 1,500 between February 12 and April 15, 2007. Since huge interest temporarily overloaded the site’s servers the past few days and caused delays for those trying to register, the contest is extended by three days. So you’ve got two months to bring your overall gamerscore up by 1,500 for the chance to earn rewards. Sign up first to join the challenge.

In order to participate, you need to have a valid Windows Live ID with your Xbox Live gamercard linked, be a legal resident of the 50 United States and District of Columbia (expect future challenges to be global in scope) and at least thirteen years-old.
