Bill Gates says Viva Pinata is for young girls
Just when you think Bill Gates was going to complement the young minds of people of all ages playing Viva Pinata, he goes and insults me, you, and every other Viva Pinata player by saying “We have a thing called Viva Pinata that’s for young girls…” Unbelievable! Bill, probably the biggest computer nerd alive, just called everyone a little girl! I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. What makes this sad is:
The developer Rare has always said “Viva Pinata is kid-friendly and fun for adults of any age.” My best guess is that Bill hasn’t spoken to Microsoft’s game publishing marketing department or even tried the finely tuned gameplay the game possesses. He probably got nervous, why else would he give Viva Pinata as an example of an online game community? Last I checked my buddies couldn’t visit my garden or the other way around via Xbox Live! What’s up with THAT Microsoft? Anyway, enough ranting, check out Bill’s blunder:
