Godzilla Unleashed on Wii, DS & PSP this autumn. Roar!

Atari today announced Godzilla Unleashed, the ultimate fighting monsters game on a giant scale. The game stars the legendary Godzilla and a slew of the most renowned monsters of all-time (23 total) such as Mechagodzilla/Kiryu, Megalon, and Gigan. Developer Pipeworks says the game runs in progressive-scan 480p and has 16:9 widescreen support. Godzilla: Unleashed will tear its way onto Wii, Nintendo DS and PSP in autumn 2007.

Gamers are challenged to ultimately save the planet from mayhem and destruction. Set in urban arenas, Godzilla: Unleashed’s interactive 3D cityscapes, big destructible buildings, soaring skyscrapers and towering alien formations provide the backdrop to epic worldwide destruction.

Up to 4 players will claw, kick, stomp, throw and blast their way through the streets of major world cities in order to claim the ultimate, beastly title: King of the Monsters. In addition to a fully reinvented combat system, Godzilla: Unleashed will feature an innovative non-linear storyline which will allow players to influence how the story unfolds through their choices within battles.

Who else will be confirmed? Will it be Mothra, Rodan, Jet Jaguar, Varan, Baragon, Orga, Hedorah(as a playable monster), Kamacuras, Kumonga, MOGUERA, The Original Mechagodzilla, Mecha-King Ghidorah, Gabara, Biollante, Manda, Ebirah(as a playable monster), SpaceGodzilla, Destoroyah, Megaguirus, or Monster X.

Mothra, Destroyah and a new monster named Krystalak have been confirmed along with the Gotengo although we dont know what role it’ll play yet

wow i didnt need to come back over here but lisson in the DS version a pyramid monster has been confirmed along with godzilla, gigan, mothra, biollante, battra, space godzilla and angirus in the DS version

I still don’t understand why they won’t give the complete list right away. This is so slow, I guess they are just getting people excited like the SSBB creator does by revealing a new characters every few weeks until release.
