Ed Boon shows grandma wiill kiill you in Mortal Kombat Armageddon
Ed Boon, the Mortal Kombat co-creator and creative director on Armageddon, explains how you’ll be using the Wii Remote and Nunchuck controller with the game by doing simple motions. Mind you, it’s only one of three control options with the others being the GameCube and Classic controllers for good old button bashing.
As for the Wii controls, Boon explains it’s “So easy in fact that even your grandmother will be throwing spears, teleporting, and doing fatalities on you!” Here he is to show you before the game comes out for Wii on May 1st.
Outside of the controls being different on Wii compared to the PS2 & Xbox versions that are already out. Because of the lack of online multiplayer, the Wii will have a new “Endurance mode” where you fight a series of opponents one round at a time, without getting any additional health after each of the 20 enemies. And no, there’s no Mii support, but you can try to recreate yourself in the Kreate a Fighter mode if MKA’s roster of 62 fighters isn’t enough for you!
