In the latest issue of Japanese magazine Dengeki, Square Enix confirmed that a Final Fantasy XIII demo will released at the new E3 now called “E for All Expo” that runs from October 18 to 20, 2007. They need to make this playable demo of the highly anticipated RPG sequel a PS3 Store download stat!
When questioned about the release of the demo, the Square Enix development team responded: “We are hoping to have a playable demo ready for ‘E3’ in 2007.” Since ‘E3’ has been downsized they only invite studios, press, and retailers to the event. PSU suggests this may cause Square Enix to hold off a public showing until the Tokyo Game Show, which usually runs late autumn. FF13 won’t come out until 2008 in Japan.
