PSone’s Rally Cross out now, WipeOut and Jet Moto soon on PS3 Store for PSP
The original PSone game Rally Cross is now available for download to your PSP handheld, at least if you have a PS3 to first download it from the PlayStation Store to that. The 105MB game is priced at $5.99.
On the PS3 console download side you can now get a free alternate armor costume pack for Genji: Days of the Blade, trailers for GripShift, Gran Turismo HD Concept, and PS2′s God of War II. And lastly a version 1.1 update for Gran Turismo HD Concept, which refines the gameplay experience in Time Trial mode and the accuracy of lap times within the online rankings.
Available soon as downloads for your PSP handheld are the classic PSone racing games WipeOut and Jet Moto. Each game will cost $5.99.
On the PS3 console download side you’ll soon be able to buy a $2.99 multiplayer pack for Blast Factor.
Sony also announced the PlayStation Network now has over 500,000 registered users since the PS3 launched on November 11-17, 2006. Out of those users over 300,000 have downloaded the free Gran Turismo HD Concept demo that became available on Christmas Eve.
