Looking back at part 1 of Christmas fun cracked me up, so here’s part 2. This is the eighteenth in a series of bad video game reviews by the Angry Nintendo Nerd. “Bible Buffet†is an unlicensed Nintendo cartridge made by game developer Wisdom Tree released in 1993. Bible Buffet is a “video board game” with Bible quizzes.
The second part is Super Noah’s Ark 3D, which is the SNES’ only unlicensed game, of course put out by Wisdom Tree in 1994. This conversion of the Wolfenstein 3D engine & maps featured the player, as Noah, attempting to quell upset animals on the Ark by flinging sleep-inducing fruit at them.
The third part shows Wisdom Tree actually put out the somewhat decent NES Zelda ripoff game Spiritual Warfare in 1992, which the Nintendo Nerd of course hates with a passion.
The fourth part shows yet another Wisdom Tree 1991 NES release King of Kings, which is similar to last week’s Bible Adventures, but now featuring three events in the early life of Jesus Christ. Those being: The Wise Men, Flight to Egypt, and Jesus and the Temple, let the Angry Nintendo Nerd try and explain these abominations to you…

I don’t know why, but at Christmas and during the entire Holiday Season it always seems like the perfect time to read, watch, or play a murder mystery. At least *I’m* NOT watching Home Alone on TV again!
Climb aboard the luxurious train and become part of the famous murder mystery as you play the video game adaptation of Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express. Famed game designer Lee Sheldon (previously of And Then There Were None) and AWE Games have teamed up once again to bring mystery adventure fans the second game in the Agatha Christie series.
Staying true to the novel, players will step on to the lavish, richly appointed train that departs Istanbul hurtling toward Paris. The train is filled with passengers, one of whom is the high profile Belgian detective Hercule Poirot. A passenger recognizes him, asks for protection, but is turned down. The next day that individual is found dead.
Players take on the role of Antoinette Marceau, a new character, who works alongside Poirot to investigate the savage murder. With a train filled of suspects, Antoinette will need every tip that she can garner from Poirot in order to pinpoint the killer.

On Introversion’s blog, they announced their “fourth game is going to be called Subversion.” The new PC game idea started out in 2003, was then put on hold repeatedly during development of Darwinia and then Defcon, now their upcoming project has started development again, pre-production to be exact.
To quote Introversion staff member Chris: “It has changed and grown and solidified and matured into something quite beautiful, and we’re finally in a position to be able to do it justice. It’s going to take us a couple of years, but as a company we’re getting bored of keeping everything secret for so long, and the decision has been made to open the process up to the world. Our next game will be developed in the full glare of the general gaming public, and we hope you enjoy the process as much as we do.” Via Eurogamer

Super, another game you can only download to your PSP if you have a 60GB PS3. The original PSone game MediEvil is now available for download to your PSP. The solid 1998 adventure has been available as a $5.99 download from SCEA since last Friday. Another new game in the series was released on PSP last year titled MediEvil Resurrection.
That PSone game becoming available in the American PlayStation Store might seem ok, until you see what Japan got in the same week: Dino Crisis, Mr. Driller, R-Type, Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure. And some others we can’t make heads or toes from: Gekitotsu Toma L’Arc: L’Arc-en-Ciel vs Tomarunner, Global Force: Shin Sentou Kokka, Migi Hadari USA, “Taiyou no Shippo: Wild, Pure, Simple Life”, The Conveni: Anomachi o Dokusenseyo.

Resembling an imposing 2-seater buggy, the Peugeot Hoggar looks avant-garde and unreal at first sight. That is if you’ve never played Bungie’s Halo Xbox games. Vast open spaces spring to mind, easily accessible to judge from the Warthog’s robustness and latent power. Oops, that’s supposed to read “the Hoggar’s robustness”. This concept car relies on unique and proven HDi engineering solutions, enhanced by original technology, such as the adoption of two power trains and appropriate wheels and suspension. So it’s more than a model on a designer’s computer or in a videogame.
The Hoggar is a sports car for extreme conditions, with two seats and two up to the minute power trains deployed transversally, one at the front, the other at the rear, giving it the attributes of a 4-wheel drive vehicle. While the radiators are common to both engines, the one on the right features a low temperature loop to cool the intake air. Air from outside is captured at the front of the vehicle and is supplied to the radiators through a conduit incorporated in the bonnet lining. Picture via Ultimatecarpage.
The Peugeot Hoggar was a concept car before Halo was ever released, so who resembles who and who got the design first will always be open for debate.

While it’s nice to know you all cared enough to visit VGB half a million times over the course of the long Christmas weekend. All that attention melted our shared server, making us either hard to reach or unavailable, so as the Pikmin pictures hinted at we’re now getting a new server just for VGB on Wednesday. We’re hoping that will fix the problem, and if it does you should start seeing updates appear midway or at the end of the day. Fingers crossed! We hope you got lots of games for Christmas and had a fun time with family and friends. The Gears of War sure did with Alvin and the Chimpmunks!
