New Zelda 2 coming to Wii in 2008? Zelda Phantom Hourglass on DS delayed to October 15th 2007

Game Informer magazine issue 165 states the next Zelda Wii has already been under development for about a year and while itâ€™s highly unlikely that Nintendo would release two Zelda games a year apart, they expect the second Zelda Wii will arrive sooner rather than later. End 2008?

As for the much anticipated cel-shaded The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the Nintendo DS (which continues from the GameCube’s Zelda: Wind Waker). At GDC 2006, it was revealed and Iwata hinted it would be out by the end of this year. However, at E3 2006 it became apparent this wouldn’t be the case, and The Hylia confirmed a delay to 2007 after speaking with Nintendo at San Diego Comic Con in July.

Game Informer is reporting that Zelda: Phantom Hourglass has not just been pushed back to “early 2007″ as previously reported, but all the way to October 15th, 2007. If so, that means the first DS Zelda adventure will be out next Holiday season. We’ve also heard rumors the game is getting a major reworking since E3 2006 – as nothing new has been shown for the title since that time.

Well one gud idea for a new wii zelda is tat it should continue TP, bring round some old characters from previous zelda games, introduce a new sword combat system, give greater areas, regions or kingdoms to explore, bossess r gona have 2 bit heaps harder, new villians have events which occur at random n yeah tat would b a preety gud zelda game

if they are making a new zelda wii they should put some tradition in it. TP was a real tradition breaker. don’t get me wrong i love the game… but they didn’t even put octoroks in it! they’ve never missed a game. at least they put stalfos in I guess. thanks to TP they’re now the only monster to never miss a game

to continue, i do think if itâ€™s a tp sequel itâ€™d be pretty goodâ€¦ as long as they put in octoroks.

Yeah it should be called A Link to the Future. Vaati, Majora, or the Majora’s Mask [corrupting another individual. Not Skull Kid again], Skull Kid or Dark Link should be the main villian, and Ganondorf should be a minor villian along with Shadow Ganon or whoever the OOT Forest Temple boss was.

I think it should be set in the twili after all they left it open to find the mirror in hyrule and go to save Minda while saving hyrule the two worlds are the same as a two sided coin remember that would be great i loved Minda she made the whole game it twisted it any ways id love any Zelda as long as it wasn’t like wind waker which i think wasn’t up to par for Zelda games
