New Zelda 2 coming to Wii in 2008? Zelda Phantom Hourglass on DS delayed to October 15th 2007

Game Informer magazine issue 165 states the next Zelda Wii has already been under development for about a year and while itâ€™s highly unlikely that Nintendo would release two Zelda games a year apart, they expect the second Zelda Wii will arrive sooner rather than later. End 2008?

As for the much anticipated cel-shaded The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the Nintendo DS (which continues from the GameCube’s Zelda: Wind Waker). At GDC 2006, it was revealed and Iwata hinted it would be out by the end of this year. However, at E3 2006 it became apparent this wouldn’t be the case, and The Hylia confirmed a delay to 2007 after speaking with Nintendo at San Diego Comic Con in July.

Game Informer is reporting that Zelda: Phantom Hourglass has not just been pushed back to “early 2007″ as previously reported, but all the way to October 15th, 2007. If so, that means the first DS Zelda adventure will be out next Holiday season. We’ve also heard rumors the game is getting a major reworking since E3 2006 – as nothing new has been shown for the title since that time.

Alright. I think they should have somehting totally different….I dont think it should happen, but what if Link met someone who told Links past, like the history of his parents, and what happened to them, Like for instance, they couldve been brave like link and went off to fight, but one of the “Bosses” ex. ganon…or anyone had killed them off in a dramatic matter, And maybe one of his parents were still alive but he thought they were both dead…you know? Finding treasures that his parents used… Iunno. I thought itd be a neat idea. Maybe eventually when they run outta ideas ……Oh…and sorry everyone… Im just having conflicts with Gamer….so gamer! Just go away! you dont have any ideas, you call everyone bitches and swear constantly. and NO body can understand your writing, and no! I just started enjoying the Xbox. But I have been playing nintendo longer than you have so shut your face!
-takes deep breath- Ok! So I am so curious on what they are coming up with for the new zelda. I hope they make it harder than TP. I mean TP was great, but waaay to easy! =D
